CIS ATC Holds a Meeting of the Permanent Conference Under the Head of the CIS ATC

 
A meeting of the permanent conference under the Head of the CIS ATC was held in Moscow on January 17, 2025. The meeting brought together authorized representatives of the competent authorities of 9 Commonwealth countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) and the SORB Executive Bureau, executives of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee and the heads of three CIS basic organizations specializing in: training personnel in the field of countering terrorism and extremism; research of the problems of countering terrorism and other manifestations of extremism; languages and culture (hereinafter referred to as the CIS specialized basic organizations).
 
At the meeting the authorized representatives shared information on the situation in the CIS member-states in the field of countering terrorism and extremism, as well as the most important events in the foreign and domestic affairs of the Commonwealth countries.
 
The Head of the CIS ATC informed the participants about the results of the Center's work in 2024, noting the high level of interaction with the security agencies of the Commonwealth countries and the positive joint results achieved, and also outlined the priorities in the Center's work in 2025.
 
The plenipotentiary representatives were briefed on the main results of the activities of the CIS specialized basic organizations in countering terrorism and extremism in 2024 and the main tasks for 2025.
 
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of trust and meaningful dialogue.
