Meeting of the permanent council at CIS ATC head with participation of the plenipotentiary representatives of the Commonwealth States


A meeting of the permanent council at the CIS ATC Head with participation of the representatives of 10 Commonwealth States (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan) and SORB Executive Committee was held on June 28, 2024 in Moscow.

At the meeting the plenipotentiary representatives briefed about the situation in the field of combating terrorism and extremism in the CIS area, as well as most important events in the domestic and foreign policy of the CIS states.

The CIS ATC Head informed the meeting participants about the key outcomes of the Center’s work in the first half of 2024 having noted a high level of cooperation with the competent authorities and achieved positive results of the joint efforts.

he Center’s executive staff reported on the results of the 17th Meeting of the heads (chiefs of staff) of the national anti-terrorism centers of the CIS member-states, ATC’s work aimed to organize specialized training of the anti-terrorism unit specialists and development of cooperation with the international partner-organizations and measures of improvement of the above activities.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of trust and meaningful dialogue.
