A meeting of the permanent council at the CIS ATC Head involving the representatives of 10 Commonwealth states (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) and SORB Executive Committee was held on March 20, 2024 in Moscow.
During the meeting the plenipotentiary representatives informed about the situation in the field of combating terrorism and extremism in the CIS area, as well as key events in the domestic and foreign policy.
The Center’s representatives presented the information on the situation developing in the Central-Asian region and security forecasting, as well as about the work of the CIS ATC aimed at rendering assistance to the Commonwealth states in inter-state search of the fugitives wanted for terrorist and extremist crimes.
The participants also reviewed analytical support to the competent authorities of the CIS member-states and information of the mentioned agencies about new and emerging special equipment and weapons.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of trust and meaningful dialogue.
