The CIS Anti-Terrorism Center hosted a meeting of the standing conference at CIS ATC Head with participation of the authorized representatives of the CIS member-states at CIS ATC and official representatives of the security bodies and special services in the Russian Federation on 12 December 2012 in Moscow.
Preparation and conduct of a joint-anti-terrorism exercise (a get-together of the senior executives of the anti-terrorism units of the security agencies and special services of the CIS member-states) in 2013 in the Kyrgyz Republic were among the topical items of the meeting's agenda. During the meeting, the participants were informed about outcomes of the Center's main events in 2012 as well as key activities scheduled for 2013.
A number of issues related to prospects of development of the CIS ATC's information-analytical activity, training and professional development of the specialists of the counter-terrorism units of the CIS competent authorities, new forms and methods of graded training within the conducted by the Center events were also on agenda.
