The CIS ATC delegation, led by First Deputy Head Zhanat Saypoldaev, took part in the meetings of the CIS Inter-Parliament Assembly commissions, held on April 17, 2025, in St. Petersburg.
The CIS IPA united commission on harmonization of legislation in the field of security and counteracting new challenges and threats reviewed the results of the CIS ATC work on the draft law “On Combating Use of Autonomous and Robotized Systems for Terrorist and Extremist Purposes”. The text of the model law was approved and submitted for consideration by the CIS IPA Standing Commission on Defense and Security.
During the meeting of the CIS IPA Standing Commission on Defense and Security, the CIS ATC’s expert presented the draft model law “On Public Security”, draft law “On Combating Use of Autonomous and Robotized Systems for Terrorist and Extremist Purposes”, as well as draft amendments to the model law “On Countering Terrorism”.
