Chief of the CIS ATC’s legal support group took part in the meeting of the Expert-consultative board to the CSTO PA Council in Saint Petersburg on October 23, 2024.
The event was attended by delegates from national parliaments, experts from public authorities, scientific and educational organizations of the CSTO member-states, and the CIS bodies.
The meeting’s agenda covered eight points related to improvement and harmonization of the CSTO member-states’ legislation. Much focus of the meeting was on anti-terrorism topic.
For example, the participants approved and forwarded the below drafts for review by the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Defense and Security:
Recommendations on approximation and harmonization of the criminal and administrative-tort law of the CSTO member-states in security of critical information infrastructure;
CSTO model law “On Terrorism Prevention” revised with the CIS ATC’s participation.
