The CIS ATC’s delegation took part in the joint meeting of the Council of the Parliament Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Moscow on December 19, 2023.
The event brought together representatives of the national parliaments, experts of the public authorities, scientific and education organizations of the CSTO member-states, observers at CSTO PA and CIS bodies.
The participants discussed issues related to harmonization of the CSTO national laws. Much attention was paid to the anti-terrorist and anti-extremist problems. The Parliament Assembly adopted еthe elaborated with the CIS ATC’s support model laws on “Information Protection and Cyber Security”, “On Security of Critical Information Infrastructure”, as well as Recommendations for legal support for biological security of the CSTO member-states, a model Guide for competent authorities of the CSTO member-states in the field of intelligence provision of collective security, a Recommended glossary of terms and definitions of the CSTO member-states in the field of national and international security.
