The head of the legal support group of the CIS ATC took part in a meeting of the expert consulting board (ECB) under the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in St. Petersburg on October 18, 2023.
The event was attended by representatives of national parliaments, experts from public authorities, scientific and educational organizations of the CSTO member-states, and CIS bodies.
The ECB meeting reviewed 13 issues related to the development of the legal framework of the Organization and the convergence of the legislation of the CSTO member-states in the field of security and illegal migration.
Draft Recommendations on the development of general principles of state regulation of the Internet, as well as the harmonization of legislation on digital signatures were approved.
In addition, the meeting reviewed a draft Concept of Migration Security of the CSTO member-states, as well as Recommendations on:
developing general principles for the development of national legislation in the field of creating artificial intelligence and robotics;
generation and use of big data;
harmonization of legislation in the field of combating illegal migration.
