A representative of the CIS ATC took part in the meetings of the CIS IPA’s Joint Commission on harmonization of legislation in the field of security and countering new challenges and threats, the CIS IPA’s Standing Commission on defense and security in St. Petersburg on October 12, 2023.
The meetings resulted in approval of the following draft documents:
Recommendations for improving legal regulation in the field of suppressing illegal activities in the waters of the CIS member-states, containing a set of measures in the counter-terrorism and counter-extremism field;
Recommendations for improving the legal regulation of the activities of border agencies of the CIS member-states in the counter-terrorism field, developed by the Institute of the Border Guard Service of the Republic of Belarus in cooperation with the CIS ATC under the auspices of the SKPV.
