Ukraine informed the Commonwealth of Independent States Executive Committee on its withdrawal from the following decisions of the Council of the heads of CIS member-states on May 6, 2022:
On founding the Commonwealth of Independent States Anti-Terrorism Center as of June 21, 2000, Moscow;
On the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center as of December 1, 2000, Minsk;
On changes and amendments to the Regulation on the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center as of November 28, 2006, Minsk.
The Commonwealth of Independent States Executive Committee hereby informs that the above decisions ceased to have effect with regard to Ukraine on May 6, 2022.
At the same time the Center notes that Ukraine has actually failed to participate in joint anti-terrorism events and information exchange within the CIS ATC since 2015.
