The meeting was held in the format of panel discussion, the agenda included the following issues:

1. Organization of work of the expert-analytical community in the field of national security.
2. Topical problems of informational countermeasures in the modern world.
3. Key directions of development of the psychological science in the information society.

The materials of the panel discussion held within the framework of the extended SAC meeting as well as outcomes and recommendations of the SAC members and experts have been considered in the Conference resolution.
Following the panel discussion, the CIS SAC experts M.I. Makstenek and A.V. Semenov made presentations of the techniques of work with open source information and social networks aimed at countering terrorism and other forms of violent extremism.
