Evgeniy SYSOEV
(a representative of the Council of the Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS member-states)
Born on 20 June 1959. Graduated from Tomsk State University.
Since 1983 E. Sysoev served in the operational and leadership (since 1988) positions in the territorial offices of the security agency and the agency's educational institutions.
Since 2011 he was Deputy Head of Service – Chief of Inspection Directorate of the Controller Service of FSB of Russia.
Since 2013 E. Sysoev served as a Deputy Director of FSB of Russia – Chief of Staff of the National Antiterrorism Committee.
Since 2016 E. Sysoev was a Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Since 2019 he served as a Chief of the Academy of the FSB of Russia.
E. Sysoev is an honorary employee of counter-intelligence. He was awarded an Order of Alexandr Nevskiy, an Order «For Military Merit», and an Order of Honor, as well as Sitara-e-Pakistan (a Star of Pakistan) decoration.
E. Sysoev was appointed as Head of the Commonwealth of Independent States Anti-Terrorism Center by the decision of the Council of the Heads of the CIS States as of October 15, 2021.
