A representative of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center took part in a round table meeting on “Preventing the Spread of Terrorist Ideology and Ensuring Anti-Terrorist Security,” held at the Moscow State Linguistic University on April 23, 2024.
The event was attended by the University’s management and students, representatives of government agencies, executive authorities and public organizations.
During the meeting, the experience of law enforcement agencies in providing anti-terrorist protection of the population and countering the terrorist ideology was presented. The participants discussed conduct by educational institutions of events on preventing the spread of destructive and extremist manifestations among young people, as well as the problems of scientific support for the fight on terrorism.
A representative of the CIS ATC made a statement on «Topical issues of counteracting the spread of terrorist ideology among young people».
The outcomes of the round table were included into the recommendations.
