A representative of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center delivered a lecture on “Terrorism and its prevention in the youth environment” for the students of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) on March 9, 2023.
The lecture was organized as part of the university’s measures undertaken to prevent destructive behavior and negative manifestations in the youth environment.
In his statement the CIS ATC’s representative focused on the legislative definition of terrorism, its difference from extremism, sanctions for participation in the destructive activities and methods to prevent attempts of the terrorist organizations to involve persons in unlawful activities.
Over 60 students of the institutes, departments and educational-scientific centers of the RSUH took part in the event.
