Applications were opened for All-Russia on-line festival of social media content “I am against extremism and terrorism” on 30 April 2020.
The festival aims to engage the youth into important social anti-terrorism and anti-extremism efforts by making content for prevention and ideological response to extremism and terrorism in the Internet.
The festival is organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in the cooperation with the National Center of Information Counteraction to Terrorism and Extremism in the Educational Environment and Internet (NCPTI).
The Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS member-states will be a media partner of the festival by introducing a special nomination “For Contribution to Fight on Terrorism in the Commonwealth of Independent States”.
Invited to take part in the festival are creative young people who are skillful and fond of making video clips, podcasts, posters and infographics or administering thematic channels of anti-extremism and anti-terrorism issues in the popular messaging apps.
The festival reached the status of an international event in 2020 so authors and authoring teams both from Russia and other CIS states can participate.
The contest admits works in Russian language created from 1 January 2019 to 20 September 2020 (certain Internet-resources shall regularly update their content during 2019-2020).
The festival is conducted in absentia. An application for the festival shall be submitted before 20 September 2020 to info@ncpti.ru.
The winners and awardees of the festival and special nominations will be awarded with diplomas and commemorative prizes.
