Within the framework of cooperation of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center and UN Regional Center of Preventive Diplomacy (UNRCCA) a representative of the CIS ATC delivered a lecture for the students of the Preventive Diplomacy Academy on July 4, 2024. The Academy is run in compliance with the UN Strategy "Youth 2030" and "Youth, Peace and Security" Strategy of the UN Security Council Resolution 2250 (2015).
The training was attended by the participants from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
In his presentation on “Countering terrorism at the regional level: CIS case” the Center’s expert briefed on the CIS ATC’s work aimed to coordinate anti-terrorism cooperation of the security agencies and special services of the Commonwealth states and highlighted the Center’s role in elaborating legal regulation and promoting international cooperation in the CT field.
