A meeting of the CIS ATC’s senior staff with the delegations of the SCO RATS Executive Committee and State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place in the CIS ATC’s headquarters on May 30, 2024.
At their meeting the parties discussed the Tenth international science-to-practice conference of SCO RATS and Second CIS conference on combating terrorism and extremism to be simultaneously held in Tashkent in September 2024, as well as the procedure of a practical exercise ahead of a joint anti-terrorism drill of the CIS competent authorities “East-Antiterror-2024”.
Special focus was made on studying the possibility of joint events aimed to counter terrorist use of the Internet.
