A working meeting of the CIS ATC Head Evgeny Sysoev and Chief of Collective Security Treaty Organization Joint Staff Andrey Serdyukov was held at the CIS ATC’s Headquarters in Moscow on March 22, 2024.
The heads of delegations discussed a state of anti-terrorism cooperation between the organizations and outlined promising lines of joint activities for 2024.
The Center’s Head noted positive dynamics in development of the partnership relations that was facilitated by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the CIS ATC and CSTO Joint Staff in January this year. The memorandum specifies the forms and lines of cooperation of the structures which have overlapping tasks and areas of responsibility.
The parties expressed the interest in joining their efforts in undertaking the measures aimed to counter terrorism and ensure collective security, as well as expressed the importance of mutual participation in the conducted exercises, training, scientific-practical conferences.
