A meeting of the Head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center Colonel General E.S. Sysoev and Director of the SCO RATS Executive Committee Major General Mirzaev R.E. was held at the headquarters of the SCO RATS Executive Committee in Tashkent on November 9, 2023.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the state of cooperation between the CIS ATC and the SCO RATS and the prospects for its development, as well as the participation of representatives of the Executive Committee and the competent authorities of the SCO member-states in the joint anti-terrorism exercises of the competent authorities of the CIS member-states and Regional expert consultations of representatives of the anti-terrorist units of the competent authorities of the Commonwealth countries to be held in 2024 on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In addition, elaboration of a joint analytical document on assessment of forecasted terrorist threats in the CIS and SCO area in 2024 was discussed.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue and interest in deepening cooperation.
