A working meeting of the representatives of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center and Executive Committee (EC) of the SCO-RATS dedicated to preparation and conduct of joint anti-terrorism drills of the CIS and SCO member-states “Eurasia-Anti-Terror 2023” was held in the CIS ATC’s headquarters on April 13, 2023.
The event was also attended by the representatives of the Executive bureau of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies of the CIS member-states and office of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee.
The SCO-RATS EC delegation was briefed on the practice of joint anti-terrorism drills with participation of security agencies and special services of the Commonwealth states conducted since 2001 with the coordinating support of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, as well as functional capacities of the terminals of collective-use information systems of the competent authorities of the CIS member-states employed by the Center during such practical activities.
The participants exchanged views on the procedure of coordination while organizing joint work while preparing for the anti-terrorism drills to be conducted under the auspices of the CIS ATC and SCO-RATS.
Further preparation will be assigned to the joint working group.
