A representative of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center attended a side event on “Initiatives, achievements and plans of the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Center (CARICC)” organized within the framework of the 66th session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs held with the support of the Regional representation of the UN Office on Drugs and Crimes on March 14, 2023.
The CARICC officers informed the briefing participants about the situation in the field of counterdrug activities and results of international anti-drug operations carried out with the coordinating support of the Center since its founding.
The event was aimed to raise awareness about the CARICC work as part of its cooperation with the international organizations and intended to improve anti-drug cooperation in Central Asia as well as to support the agreed initiatives of the region’s states in this field.
