A representative of the CIS ATC attended a launch event of the Project on Protecting Vulnerable Targets by using Behavioral Insights to Strengthen Law Enforcement Capabilities hosted by the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism on November 10, 2022.
The event offered an opportunity to share national best practices of the competent authorities of the United Kingdom, Spain and the United States, including psychological techniques used to prevent terrorist crimes.
According to the developers, the new initiative seeks to strengthen the capacity of law enforcement and security officers to prevent terrorist attacks and strengthen crisis management through innovative approaches offered by behavioral science.
