The CIS ATC’s representative attended International conference on Transnational Terrorist Threats from Emerging and Re-emerging Violent Extremist Movements organized by the Council of Europe Committee on Counter-Terrorism (CDCT) and the German Federal Foreign Office on November 3, 2022.
The conference participants exchanged views on the threats posed by far-right and far-left radical organizations and trends of their activity. The conference reviewed typologies, funding behind extremist activities, possible counter-measures, as well as designation and proscription of extremist groups in the Council of Europe member-states.
