Deputy Head of CIS ATC A. Zh. Kutmanov took part in the meeting of the Coordinating Conference of the Chairs of Defense and Security Committees (Boards) at the Collective Security Treaty Organization Parliamentary Assembly Council in Saint Petersburg on October 20, 2022.
A. Zh. Kutmanov noted a high level of practical cooperation between the CIS ATC and CSTO Parliamentary Assembly stressing the achieved positive results in improving legal frameworks of the anti-terrorism cooperation. He also paid attention to the necessary scale-up of the joint efforts of the international and regional organizations in countering manifestations of terrorism, proliferation of radical ideas, as well as any forms of financial and material support to the terrorist organizations.
During the event the members of the Coordinating conference exchanged views on collective security issues and reviewed a draft work plan of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly for 2023.
