The CIS Anti-Terrorism Center’s delegation led by its Head Colonel General E.S. Sysoev took part in the observer capacity in the Manesar-Antiterror – 2022 joint anti-terrorism drill of the competent authorities of Shanghai Cooperation Organization on October 13, 2022.
The drill was conducted in several stages with the coordinating support of SCO Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure. Its final stage was carried out at the Training Center of the Indian National Security Guard in Manesar.
The drill offered an opportunity to master practical interaction of the units of SCO member-states’ competent authorities during conduct of joint anti-terror operations and mechanisms of information exchange between the special services, test efficiency of use of the Secured Information Telecommunication System earlier created within the SCO RATS.
The participants exchanged practices of organization and conduct of anti-terrorism activities, discussed initiatives of further improvement of cooperation in this field.
