A meeting of the officers of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center and an expert of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team pursuant to resolutions 1526 (2004) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da'esh), Al-Qaida and the Taliban V.A. Shtoyunda was held in the CIS ATC’s headquarters on September 6, 2022.
During the meeting the UN representative explained the mission of the Monitoring Team, informed about the developing situation in Afghanistan, as well as emerging challenges and threats posed by international terrorist organizations Al-Qaida and ISIL.
