A representative of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center took part in the “Central Asia and the Caucasus Regional Workshop on Enhancing Information Sharing on Foreign Terrorist Fighters Among Member States” dedicated to advanced methods of information exchange regarding ways to address the evolving threat posed by foreign terrorist fighters, organized by the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism and the International Criminal Police Organization, in partnership with the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia on 4-7 July 2022 in Dushanbe.
At the event the participants were informed about implementation of the international and regional counter-terrorism strategies, best practices of extended trans-border cooperation in this area, as well as best practices in information sharing on foreign terrorist-fighters.
As part of the event agenda the delegates visited the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe organized to familiarize with its operation and prospects of further development.
