The 6-th permanent expert group meeting of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, Executive Committee of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure and Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization took place in Moscow on June 10, 2022.
The meeting participants exchanged views on the operational situation in the organizations’ area of responsibility, developing trends for the nearest future and ways to neutralize threats posed by international terrorist organizations.
The parties discussed development of cooperation related to exchange of information and analytical documents, reciprocal participation in the science-to-practice events and agreed upon the possible date and agenda of the annual meeting of the executives of the CIS ATC, CSTO Secretariat and SCO RATS Executive Committee.
The permanent expert group was founded in 2018 under the Memorandum of Understanding in Cooperation and Interaction between the CIS ATC, CSTO Secretariat and SCO RATS and is aimed at consolidating efforts of the regional organizations to fight on terrorism.
