Representatives of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center took part in the meeting of the Working group on Afghanistan at the Council of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member-states on April 1, 2022.
The meeting participants exchanged views on the military-political situation in Afghanistan and the CSTO member-states’ cooperation. It was noted that the Afghan problem would continue to be topical for the Central Asian countries and the world community as a whole in the short term.
The event was also attended by the representatives of the foreign ministries of the CSTO member-states, UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, Coordinating Service of the Border Troops Commanders’ Council, Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and International Committee of the Red Cross.
