The Head of CIS Anti-Terrorism Center E.S. Sysoev met with the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization S.V. Zas’ at the CIS ATC’s headquarters on 2 February 2022.
The parties exchanged views on the trends in developing situation in the organizations’ areas of responsibilities and addressed a number of practical issues in combating international terrorism and extremism.
The heads of delegations assessed the state and prospects for development of the partnership relations within the frameworks of the existing Memorandum of Cooperation between the CIS ATC and CSTO Secretariat, discussed the issues of organization of information exchange, conduct of joint anti-terrorism drills and mutual participation in the scientific and institutional events.
The heads of the international organizations highlighted the importance of consolidating joint efforts in the face of the increasing terrorist threats, expressed interest in expanding bilateral cooperation.
In conclusion of the meeting the CSTO Secretary General left a note in the book of honorable guests.
