Representatives of the CIS ATC took part in the regional training of the UN Office for Counter-Terrorism and UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia on "Strengthening Cross-Border Cooperation and Information Sharing to Interdict Terrorist Travel in Central Asia" held from 29 November to 4 December 2021 in Istanbul.
Experts of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, International Migration Organization, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, World Customs Organization, EU-BOMCA , Transport Security Administration of the Department of Homeland Security (Central Asia Border Management Program) participated in the training in the trainers' capacity.
A number of meetings on development of cooperation between the CIS ATC and the UNOCT within the the framework of the existing MoU were discussed on the sidelines of the event.
