The fourth meeting of the standing expert group of the CIS ATC, SCO RATS Executive Secretariat and CSTO met under the chairmanship of the SCO RATS EC in Moscow on 28 октября 2020 to discuss issues of countering international terrorism and extremism.
The parties expressed their common concern on the situation in the world developing under the influence of the international terrorist organizations and measures undertaken by the CIS, SCO and CSTO member-states to neutralize them, including under the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The participants noted the identity of the organizations’ positions on topical issues of international and regional security.
The meeting allowed for exchange of the opinions on the synchronization of the practical counter-terrorism steps by the SCO, CIS and CSTO.
The meeting participants concurred in the opinion that exchange of information and best practices in most burning counter-terrorism problems should continue, including at the trilateral level.
