From 3 to 6 December 2019 in Bishkek, representatives of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center took part in the follow-up visit to the Kyrgyz Republic conducted by the UN Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED). The second follow-up visit was carried out within the framework of the Committee’s work to monitor, facilitate and promote Member States’ implementation of Security Council resolutions 1373 (2001), 1624 (2005), 2178 (2014), 2396 (2017) and 2462 (2019).
The following United Nations agencies and international or regional organizations joint the delegation: the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT); the Monitoring Team of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities; the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL); the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (UN-Women); the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia (UNRCCA); the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO); the Eurasian Group for Combatting Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing (EAG); the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE); and the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (RATS SCO).
