INTERPOL’s 43rd European Regional Conference closed in Bucharest, Romania

The event was also attended by the CIS ATC’s experts. Emerging security threats in Europe, strengthening border security, cybercrime and stepping up the fight against terrorism and other issues were discussed at the three-day (19-21 May) meeting. Country experience (Serbia, Monaco, France, Belgium, Russian Federation, Austria, China, Germany and Estonia) on use of INTERPOL’s tools and services was presented.
By closing the conference, the delegates endorsed recommendations to increase information sharing on foreign fighters and disrupt their travel, enhance the fight against cybercrime through information exchange, and use INTERPOL’s tools to support investigations.
