Representatives of the CIS ATC took part in the expert group meeting on the draft Program of Cooperation of the CIS Member-States in Strengthening External Border Security for 2026-2030, which was held at the CIS Executive Committee on September 4, 2024.
The event was attended by representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, the CIS Executive Committee, the SKPV Coordination Service, secretariats of the IPA Council and the CIS Prosecutor Generals’ Coordination Committee, BKBOP and MIR news agency.
At the meeting the experts finalized and agreed on the draft document, taking into account the comments and proposals received from the CIS states and CIS bodies.
A decision was made to submit the draft Program for consideration by the Council of CIS Heads of State in accordance with the established procedure.
