A representative of CIS ATC took part in the IV Law Forum on “Role of Law in Providing National Security of the today’s Russia” held under the auspices of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS member-states at the Saratov State Judicial Academy on June 6, 2024.
The event was attended by over 1,000 scientists in the field of law, law practitioners, representatives of public authorities of 12 states (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, India, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Tajikistan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan).
The forum agenda included 22 discussion platforms to review issues of criminal and antisocial behavior of minors, improvement of criminal procedures and criminalistic means of security provision, digital transformation of economies, security of election process, development of financial-legal institutes amid contemporary challenges, counteraction to criminal threats, efficiency of judicial defense of individual and public interests and other topical legal problems.
The Center’s representative presented a report on some aspects of development of legal regulation of counter-extremism efforts during the election campaigns in the CIS member-states in present day conditions.
