A representative of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center attended online the International Financial Security Forum organized by the Federal Financial Monitoring Service of the Russian Federation on October 11, 2022.
The event was held on the sidelines of the final stage of the Second International Financial Security Olympiad for Schoolchildren and Students of Higher Education Institutions. The Forum brought together representatives of the financial intelligence units, agencies authorized to combat laundering of illegally obtained proceeds and financing of terrorism, bank supervision agencies, scientific society and international organizations, policy makers of the Eurasian region and BRICS.
The panel discussion covered improvement of information, financial and legal literacy, financial security, suppression of activity of persons and legal entities facilitating legalization of criminal proceeds and financing of terrorism.
