The CIS ATC delegation led by First Deputy Head Zh.N. Saypoldaev took part in the meeting of the Council of the Ministers of Interior of the CIS Member-States in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic on September 8, 2022.
The meeting brought together executives of the Ministries of Interior of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan Nd Uzbekistan, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the CIS Executive Committee and Office for Fight on Organized Crime and Other Crimes in the Territory of CIS Member-States.
The meeting reviewed a wide range of issues, including implementation of interstate programs of cooperation in combating crime, strengthening of cooperation in fight on terrorism and extremism, cybercrime, trafficking in arms, smugling of psychotropic and narcotic substances.
In his statement Zh.N. Saypoldaev noted high level of practical cooperation between the Center and CIS specialized bodies (Office for Fight on Organized Crime, Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units, Council of Heads of Penitentiary Services, Council of Border Troops Commanders), highlighting positive outcomes of the joint special operations of interstate search of wanted terrorists and their supporters.
He also drew attention to the necessary increase of exchange of information and analytics and continued mutual participation in the events within the framework of CIS.
