Deputy Head of CIS ATC Major General P.V. Tikhonov took part in the 32nd meeting of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutor Generals of the CIS member-states in Minsk, Republic of Belarus on June 24, 2022.
The meeting reviewed 14 issues, including current practices of the Commonwealth Prosecutor General Offices
of the Commonwealth in combating crime, preventing extremism and terrorism in correctional facilities, illegal migration, etc.
The Center's Deputy Head noted the high level of cooperation between the Coordinating council and CIS ATC by highlighting positive results of cooperation in improving anti-terrorism legal frameworks of the Commonwealth.
P.V. Tikhonov focused on the necessity to reinforce preventive measures aimed to protect critical infrastructure facilities and counter proliferation of radical ideas in the Internet.
The CIS ATC's representative congratulated the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, officers and veterans of the prosecutor office on the 100th anniversary since founding.
