On 18-19 March 2014 a meeting of the expert group was held in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus, to approve the draft documents related to inventory of the contractual legal framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The meeting was attended by the experts of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, authorized representatives and experts of the Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan, Ukraine, CIS Economic Court, Council of the Commanders of the Border Forces, Council of the Ministers of Interior of the CIS member-states, as well as officials of the CIS Executive Committee.
The expert group on approval of the draft documents related to inventory of the Commonwealth contractual legal framework was founded upon the initiative of the CIS Executive Committee Legal Department. Among the documents to be reviewed are the lists of the international agreements to be terminated, a list of the Decisions of the Council of the CIS Heads of States and Council of the Heads of the CIS Governments as well as the international agreements which have ceased to exist.
