The CIS ATC’s delegation led by its Head Evgeny Sysoev took part in the XIII International Meeting of High Representatives in Charge of Security Issues, organized by the Security Council of the Russian Federation, at the National Center "Russia" in Moscow on May 28-29, 2025.
The event was attended by secretaries of security councils, advisers and assistants to heads of state on national security, deputy prime ministers of governments, heads of security agencies and special services, leading 124 delegations from 104 countries included in the CIS, SCO, CSTO, BRICS, ASEAN, the League of Arab States, the African Union and other international organizations.
The forum allowed for an open discussion and engaged exchange of views on the formation of an architecture of equal and indivisible security for the states of the Global South and East.
A separate "round table" was dedicated to international cooperation in information security. A scientific seminar on global security was held for the first time ever.
The Center’s delegation also took part in an informal multilateral meeting of high representatives of the CIS countries in charge of security issues.
Besides, the CIS ATC’s Head held meetings with the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Volfovich A.G., Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurdauletov G.D., Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Makhmudov V.V., Director of the Department for Cooperation in the Sphere of Security of the CIS Executive Committee Klemez E.A., CSTO Deputy Secretary General Semerikov V.A., Deputy Director of the SCO RATS Executive Committee Pisany S.V., Director of the African Union Center for the Study and Research of Terrorism Lallali Indris Munir on the sidelines of the forum.
