A meeting was held between the Head of the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center Evgeny Sysoev and the Chair of the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus Ivan Tertel at the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center headquarters on May 14, 2025.
During their meeting the Parties assessed the state of cooperation between the CIS ATC and the KGB of the Republic of Belarus in legal, operational, analytical, and scientific-educational fields. They noted the high level of cooperation, supported by concrete positive results of the joint work.
They reviewed the concept of a counter-terrorism forum to be held in the Republic of Belarus next year, which shall combine the IV CIS Conference on Countering Terrorism and Extremism and the XXII Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercises of the competent authorities of the Commonwealth countries.
In conclusion, the executives expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation and confirmed their readiness to increase joint efforts within the CIS area.
