A meeting between the Head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center Evgeny Sysoev and First Deputy Chair of the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Terebov on April 1, 2025 in Minsk.
Evgeny Sysoev congratulated Sergey Terebov on the 85th anniversary of founding of the National Security Academy of the Republic of Belarus and wished him success in the further development of the agency’s university.
During their meeting the Parties assessed the state of interaction between the CIS ATC and Belarus KGB and noted the high level of cooperation proven by specific positive results of joint work.
They reviewed the concept of organization of a next year counter-terrorism forum in the Republic of Belarus which will unite the IV CIS Conference on Countering Terrorism and Extremism and the XXII Joint Anti-Terrorism Exercises of the Competent Authorities of the Commonwealth States.
In conclusion, the executives expressed interest in strengthening cooperation and confirmed their commitment to increase joint efforts in the CIS area.
