CIS ATC participates in 55th meeting of CIS Security Chiefs’ Council

The CIS Anti-Terrorism Center’s delegation led by its Head, Colonel General Evgeny Sysoyev, took part in the 55th meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member-States in Astana on October 4, 2024.

The event brought together the heads of the special services of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The meeting reviewed 17 issues and approved, inter alia, the outcomes of the Second CIS Conference on Combating Terrorism and Extremism;

the results of the joint anti-terrorist exercise of the competent authorities of the CIS member states "East-Antiterror - 2024";

the CIS ATC’s plan of actions for 2025; a draft Program for Cooperation of the CIS Member-States in Countering Terrorism and Extremism for 2026-2028.
