A meeting of the Head of CIS Anti-Terrorism Center Colonel-General E.S. Sysoev and Chair of the State Committee of National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic Lieutenant-General K.K. Tashiev took place in Bishkek on August 3, 2022.
At the meeting the parties exchanged their views on the development trends and reviewed a number of practical issues in the field of counter-terrorism and counter-extremism.
The heads of delegations assessed the state and prospects of cooperation development, discussed organization of information exchange and conduct of joint anti-terrorism drills in 2023 in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The executives stressed the importance of consolidated efforts of the Commonwealth’s competent authorities amid the rising terrorist threats, expressed their interest in enhancing the cooperation.
