The Chair of Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member-States (SORB), FSB Director Army General Alexander Bortnikov paid visit to the CIS ATC’s headquarters on 14 January 2022.
The SORB Chair introduced Colonel General E.S. Sysoev appointed as the Head of CIS Anti-Terrorism Center with effect from January 1, 2022 and wished him professional success at the new demanding position.
Director of the Russian FSB commended the years of service (2006-2021) of Colonel General of Police A.P. Novikov as a Head of CIS ATC, and noted his personal contribution to shaping an efficient system of counter-terrorism measures within the Commonwealth.
At the conclusion of his visit A.V. Bortnikov made an entry in the Book of Honorable Guests.
