The meeting participants have reviewed issues of practical implementation of the decisions made at the meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of States, which took place on 16 October 2015 in the Republic of Kazakhstan, with regard to joint counteraction to the terrorist threat and have defined ways of improvement of the cooperation mechanisms in identifying persons who had undergone ideological and sabotage-terrorist training in Syria and Afghanistan.

The SORB members have reached a consensus of the necessity to concentrate joint efforts on identifying and eliminating fighters' transfer and weapons supply pipelines as well as terrorist financing sources and to focus special attention of the Commonwealth security bodies and special services on revealing and liquidating sleeper terrorist cells and preventing operation of recruiters facilitating travel of citizens of our countries abroad to the areas where international bandit groups are active.
