A working meeting of the CIS ATC Head colonel general Andrey Novikov and Executive Director of the UN Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED) Jean-Paul Laborde was held on the sidelines of the two-day event. A number of agreements related to development of cooperation of the CIS ATC and CTED in counteracting terrorism under the UN SC resolutions 1373, 1267 and 1989 were reached summarizing the results of the meeting. With that the parties noted the importance to improve and intensify the information exchange, necessity to continue examination and distribution of the best practices aimed at prevention and identification of the terrorist and extremist crimes. 79 delegates from 55 countries and three international organizations took part in the XIII Meeting.
