On August 26-30, 2024, the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, State Committee of National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, and OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek organized an expert meeting on countering terrorism which was held in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan.
The event included a training course on "Information and analytical support for countering the ideology of violent extremism and terrorism on the Internet" for the officers of anti-terrorist units of special services and law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan.
SEUSLAB analytical center experts shared their experience in developing and operating the systems for collecting and processing big data from open sources, identifying socially dangerous phenomena on the Internet.
The meeting participants were informed about the methods of analyzing the results of information gathering from the Internet, including with the use of artificial intelligence.
The practical part of the event included business games on scenarios on countering manifestations of terrorism and extremism on the Internet.
