The CIS ATC’s representative took part in the scientific and practical seminar on "Prevention of the spread of terrorist and extremist ideology in the information space as a basis for national security", organized by the "Moscow House of Nationalities" on June 25.
The event was attended by experts in national policy, interethnic relations, representatives of the scientific and pedagogical community, leaders and members of public organizations, employees of prefectures and administrations of Moscow, students of Moscow universities.
In her statement, the Center’ representative focused on the main threats to the Commonwealth countries associated with the spread of terrorist and extremist ideology, highlighted approaches to international cooperation in counteracting those threats, noted the importance of the educational events aimed at harmonizing interethnic relations, preserving and developing ethnic cultures, preventing extremism and terrorism.
